Our personalisation tool is simple but hides many powerful functions. In addition to reading this brief tutorial, we advise you to try it out for yourself, it’s the most direct way of getting to grips with it.
The sidebar
The sidebar contains most of the options to start designing:
Choose “BACKGROUNDS” to choose from a set of pre-designed backgrounds, compiled by category. The image you choose will become the background of your design.
Choose “TEXT” to select a text-based design. Then you can change the text. To do so, once the motif has been added, you need to select it, click on the
“Ungroup” button, and double click on the text you want to change..
Choose “IMAGES” to select from a set of designs compiled by category. You will be able to edit them like any other element and, in most cases, change their colours.
Choose “MY PHOTOS” to upload your own photos or designs from your computer or mobile phone. Once uploaded, they will be available until you clear the cache.
Choose “SEARCH” to search for high quality, copyright free images that are ready to use in your creations.
Choose “FACEBOOK” or “INSTAGRAM” to connect to your social media and get direct access to the photos you have on them.
Choose “AI” to generate images using artificial intelligence.
This is an extremely powerful tool. Enter text in “Describe your image” (this is what’s called a “prompt”) in order for the artificial intelligence to create an image from it, select whether you want it to be squared, horizontal or vertical, and choose one of the styles from the “style” tab. Finally, click “generate image” and be patient, it takes a while! Your design will be ready to upload to the canvas. We recommend you try varying the prompt. Things don’t always turn out well on the first attempt, but by refining it, you will achieve amazing results.
In the “art”, “trending”, “photography”, “backgrounds” and “product” tabs, you will find examples generated using the tool, and the prompt used to generate them.
El menú superior
In the top menu, you will find complementary options to:
Generate a QR code quickly using whatever text like (generally a website).
Activate or deactivate the grid lines, they can help you to centre your designs.
Undo or redo the most recent actions.
Create a new text box (as many as you like)
Draw freehand directly on the canvas, or create lines, rectangles or circles.
Paste from clipboard (shortcuts also work).
Save your design.
Refresh and start from scratch.
Close and exit.
Preview to confirm your design.
Top submenu
If nothing has been selected, the top submenu is hidden, but when uploading an element to the canvas or selecting an existing one, new options will be displayed subsequently or underneath the top bar that enable you to carry out basic editing tasks in the selected elements, such as cutting (copying to clipboard and deleting),
deleting,
copying
aligning,
moving up or down,
transforming, and other more specific tasks.
The magic wand
- By clicking on the
magic wand (it is only displayed if the selected element is a photograph or bitmap image), three new groups of options will be displayed on the left-hand menu:

Choice of colour modes
Similar to IG filters.
It’s best to try them out!

Basic colour settings
Brightness, contrast, saturation…

AI once again
Upscale, Outpaint and Smart Replace
Advanced functions
Explaining these latest options:
- The
Upscale feature automatically improves the image. You might like it... you might not.
- The
Outpaint feature makes the image “grow” outside of its limits, ideal for removing margins and bleed. It doesn’t work for very large images, it can change the colours, and you need to be patient because it takes quite a while. But it can be really helpful. It’s like magic!
An example of using “Upscale”. In the original image, I don’t have enough space around the characters. “Upscale” invents a new background using the one that was already there. Then I can increase the design, and gain margin without any of the characters being cut off.
- The
Smart replace feature is still in Beta.
Remove background
- The
crossed out camera icon is used to remove the background. It’s particularly useful for images with simple, plain coloured backgrounds, although you can try the effect with complex photographs.
Other functions
- If the element is a vector file, the colours are identified automatically, and by clicking on each dot, you will be able to change each colour, and even remove it from the element. All colours change at once. If you want to change them separately, you should
ungroup the element
- The
coloured drop allows you to change the colours of an element. Select the colour from those displayed on the left. Check whether you are selecting the fill or outline tool, and click “+” if you want to have more control and create your own colour.
- The
roller allows you to copy the style of an element (colour and outline) and apply it to the next element you click on.
- The
“use as background image” option moves the image to the background in full size, and blocks it from being edited.
- If the element you click on is the background, the
“background positioning” option is displayed. Click on it to see the three possible options. The
“convert element into image” option will also be displayed, to turn the background into an image that you can move, scale and edit, like any other..
- In elements with an outline, the
stroke width option will be displayed.
- The
transparency icon allows you to modify the opaqueness of an element, so it is more or less see-through.
- The ungroup icon is used to ungroup objects in preset designs or uploaded vector files, which allows you to move, edit and transform them separately.
Text elements
-
If the element is text, you will be able to make it
bold,
italic or
underlined,
align it ad change the
size. You can also increase or decrease the size with the four handles of the text box, but the
change size option is very useful when the text box is too big or you can't find these handles.
- You will also be able to change the
font type.
- Another essential option is the one that enables you to alternate between
caja de texto,
párrafo de texto o
texto curvo.
- By clicking on
the three dots, another different submenu is displayed, depending on the type of text chosen:

Text box and text paragraph options
Handles to modify the alignment and distance between characters (tracking)
Buttons to modify the types of alignment, change everything to upper case, superscript and subscript

Curved text options
Handles to modify the curvature and radius
Buttons to choose upper or lower curvature
